Job description

Review BSA/AML reportable situations related to the monitoring of Cadence customers and their transactions, escalated by the First level Analyst. This position is remote.

How You will Make an Impact:

• Senior Analyst conducts a secondary review for CTRs and the Monetary Instrument log to ensure the first level Analyst completed all reportable transactions within the 15-day reporting cycle.
• Helps First Analyst by answering questions and escalating issues as needed.
• Monitors cash purchases of Monetary Instruments and maintains the Monetary Instrument Log when purchases meet recordkeeping requirements.
• Conducts follow-up SAR Cases to ensure quality and consistency.
• Reviews Customer and Non-Customer Activity for suspicious activity.
• Researches and prepares Suspicious Activity Reports for activities such as ACH Transactions, Wire Transfers, Monetary Instrument Purchases, ATM Activity, and Cash Transactions using the AML Program Patriot Officer.
• Performs a secondary approval process for SAR cases, including escalation for discussion and decision-making to ensure quality and consistency.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience with the Bank Secrecy Act.
• General banking knowledge.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Apps.
• Ability to be tactful, adaptable, work in a fast-paced environment, and be a team player.
• Reliable attendance.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.

Remote within Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas.

Remote positions are primarily within these states; other states may be considered pending approval.
