Farmers & Merchants Bank of Central California is seeking a Full-Time, non-exempt BSA/AML Investigator to strengthen regulatory compliance. The role focuses on high‑risk customer reviews, AML investigations, and reporting to the BSA/Fraud Manager while ensuring adherence to bank policies and applicable laws.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in banking/BSA‑AML, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel, Access, and data entry. A Bachelor’s in Business is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience specializing in banking, financial management and BSA/AML.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws/regulations pertaining to BSA/AML, USA Patriot Act and OFAC.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Access, and data entry.

Responsabilités

• Ensure strict adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements in BSA/AML investigations.
• Investigate suspicious activity and report findings to the BSA/Fraud Manager.
• Maintain desk procedures and coordinate information with bank personnel and customers.
• Identify, research and report suspicious activity throughout investigations.
• Provide case findings to management for concurrence and feedback.
• Assist with high risk customer reviews including MSB and CTR exemptions.
