Job summary

Billion-dollar credit union in California's Central Valley seeks a Compliance Specialist to administer the BSA/AML program, manage Verafin, file CTRs, prepare SARs, and support CIP, OFAC and vendor management.

Responsibilities include 314a/314b processing, OFAC alerts review, risk assessments, new-hire training, and monthly Board reporting. This full-time role in Modesto, CA offers Mon–Fri hours (8am–5pm) with occasional remote options within California.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; four-year degree preferred.
• At least three years of related experience in similar roles within the industry.
• BSA related certifications a plus (BSACS, CAMS).
• Some credit union or financial institution experience is desired.
• Knowledge of credit union or bank regulations.
• Transferable skills such as project or risk management acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Compliance Director with the day-to-day running of the BSA/AML program.
• Files CTRs on time.
• Prepares SARs for review and filing, on time.
• Completes the 314a process in Verafin and responds to 314b requests.
• Reviews daily OFAC alerts and addresses hits.
• Supports BSA/AML risk assessments and monthly Board reporting.
