LeafLink seeks a highly skilled Senior BSA/AML Analyst to own end-to-end financial crimes investigations across a cannabis client portfolio, serving as SME on FinCEN guidance, MRB regulations, and embedded banking typologies.

This role requires regulatory prowess, business judgment, and the ability to operate with ambiguity in a fintech-cannabis environment. Flexible PTO, stock options, and strong compensation are offered.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of BSA/AML compliance experience, fintech and cannabis banking a plus.
• Experience filing marijuana-related SARs under FinCEN MRB guidance.
• Knowledge of BaaS compliance models and AML obligations across partner programs.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and investigate AML alerts across multiple program partners.
• Conduct due diligence and ongoing monitoring of cannabis clients, including risk assessments.
• Prepare marijuana-specific SAR reports per FinCEN guidance with priority/termination distinctions.
• Support development and calibration of transaction monitoring rules for typologies.
• Manage Cannabis Related Business onboarding and ongoing monitoring, including license verifications and ownership analysis.
• Conduct regular CRB account reviews—validate deposits, sales activity, and transaction patterns.
