Job summary

Cyberhaven is redefining data security with a browser extension that provides visibility and control at the point of interaction with web apps. You will join the Browser Extension team to build secure, high-performance extensions with tight integration to endpoint agents and backend services.

You will work across Chrome/Edge and other major browsers, focusing on Manifest V3 and evolving browser APIs to deliver a reliable experience for customers who demand robust data protection.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in TypeScript/JavaScript engineering, including testing and debugging.
• Ability to inspect network traffic, DOM structures, and client-side code of web apps.
• Strong learning ability for browser extension platforms and manifests.
• Focus on correctness, performance, and reliability of background processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to coordinate with developers on non-browser platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a robust browser extension for Chrome, Edge, and other major browsers using Manifest V3 and modern APIs.
• Implement features that securely interact with web content and backend services, ensuring security best practices.
• Optimize performance and reliability across diverse environments and user workflows.
• Work closely with the endpoint agent and backend teams for tight integration across endpoints and services.
• Stay ahead of evolving browser APIs, security standards, and extension ecosystem changes.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes.
