Job summary

As part of the Chrome Security team, you will triage vulnerabilities, review features for security impact, and help ensure a secure, fast, and reliable browser across platforms. This position offers opportunities to switch teams and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in the C++ programming language.
• 2 years of experience building software for Web Privacy or Security (e.g., identity and access management).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with other teams, in Chrome Security, Chrome more broadly, and other teams at Google.
• Manage and prioritize assigned tasks and projects, ensuring the timely delivery with minimal guidance.
• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve the safety, reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the code we own.
• Participate in security launch reviews, as well as the Chrome Security Shepherding rotation or an equivalent rotation.
• Design and implement features, metrics, and tools to make Chrome more secure while also participating in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
