Job summary

RT Specialty, a division of Ryan Specialty, seeks a Senior Brokerage Operations Coordinator to support its ProExec team in Professional and Executive Liability. You will coordinate documentation, assist with quoting, and manage surplus lines processes to ensure smooth service for brokers and clients.

The role emphasizes operational excellence in a fast-paced environment, with hybrid/onsite options in La Jolla, CA or fully remote within PST/MST time zones.

Qualifications

• Insurance industry experience, brokerage experience, underwriting support, or related operations background.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a customer focus.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to brokers and ProExec team members.
• Prepare and maintain insurance documentation, correspondence, and account records.
• Assist with quoting activities and presentation of quote materials to brokers.
• Obtain and process loss runs, policy documents, and underwriting information.
• Support surplus lines filings and documentation requirements.
• Research and resolve accounting and policy servicing issues.
• Maintain accurate client and policy information across internal systems.
• Respond to broker and internal stakeholder inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Ensure documentation is organized, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with process improvements and ad hoc operational projects.
• Collaborate with teammates to support workflow management and service excellence.
