Our client, a prominent media production company renowned for its high-quality broadcast content, is seeking a talented Senior Broadcast Graphics Designer & Motion Graphics Artist for their studio in Upington, Northern Cape . This role is integral to creating visually compelling graphics packages, lower thirds, transitions, and promotional materials that enhance the viewing experience across various television channels and digital platforms. You will be responsible for translating creative briefs into dynamic and engaging animated graphics, working closely with producers and directors. The ideal candidate possesses a keen artistic eye, exceptional design skills, and mastery of industry-standard motion graphics software. Key Responsibilities

• Design and animate high-quality broadcast graphics, including show opens, title sequences, lower thirds, and full-screen graphics.
• Develop animated infographics, data visualizations, and other motion graphics to support storytelling.
• Collaborate with producers, directors, and clients to understand project requirements and creative objectives.
• Ensure all graphics adhere to brand guidelines and technical specifications for broadcast delivery.
• Optimize graphics for real-time playback in broadcast environments.
• Manage project timelines and deliver assets on schedule.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in broadcast design and motion graphics.
• Maintain a high standard of visual quality and creative execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to graphics creation and integration.
• Contribute to the overall aesthetic and brand identity of broadcast productions.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional broadcast graphics design and motion graphics animation skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experience with 3D software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
• Knowledge of broadcast workflows and real-time graphics systems.
