About the Role Our client, a dynamic creative agency based in Upington, Northern Cape , is seeking a highly skilled and imaginative Senior Motion Graphics Designer to elevate their visual content. This role is crucial for conceptualizing and producing captivating animated graphics, title sequences, explainer videos, and social media content for a diverse range of clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles, animation techniques, and storytelling, coupled with expert proficiency in industry-standard software. You will be instrumental in translating client briefs into visually compelling and engaging motion graphics that effectively communicate messages and enhance brand identities. Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and execute high-quality motion graphics for various media, including video, web, and social platforms.
• Create animated explainer videos, title sequences, logo animations, and promotional content.
• Collaborate with art directors, designers, and clients to understand project requirements and creative direction.
• Develop storyboards and animatics to visualize concepts and guide the animation process.
• Select and edit music and sound effects to complement motion graphics.
• Ensure all motion graphics adhere to brand guidelines and project specifications.
• Optimize motion graphics for different platforms and delivery formats.
• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in motion design and animation.
• Mentor junior designers and provide feedback on their work.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Motion Graphics Designer.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of creative and technically proficient motion graphics work.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, typography, and visual design.
• Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a significant advantage.
• Excellent storytelling and conceptualization skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
