Job summary

The Houston Rockets and Toyota Center seek a Sr. Broadcast Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the venue's broadcast infrastructure.

This role provides support for Rockets and Comets home games, select third-party events, and collaborates with the video production team on workstation and storage needs. Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting broadcast, production, and post-production tech, managing the control room network, and ensuring NBA broadcast

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting broadcast infrastructure in large-scale stadium/arena environments.
• 5+ years maintaining broadcast television or production equipment.
• 2+ years working in SMPTE 2110 environments.
• 2+ years experience with network infrastructures and shared storage systems.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day technical operations and maintenance of Toyota Center's broadcast infrastructure.
• Provide support for Rockets and Comets home games and select third-party events.
• Coordinate with video production team and IT for workstations and DLC network storage.
• Operate and troubleshoot broadcast, production, and post-production technology.
• Manage control room network infrastructure and DLC storage network.
• Ensure TV and radio broadcast needs are met for games and events.
• Collaborate with A/V departments to achieve broadcasting initiatives.
