Zusammenfassung

Felsburg Holt & Ullevig is seeking a senior-level structures engineer for the Great Plains region. The role offers leadership opportunities and will serve as Project Manager on upcoming pursuits across transportation design projects in the Midwest, involving roadway and rail structures.

The candidate will advance bridge and structural design efforts, direct client communications, and support project delivery from planning through construction. A PE license in the region is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in civil/transportation engineering with emphasis on bridge and structural design.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years' experience as a bridge or structural design engineer, including but not limited to bridge, retaining wall, foundation, and culvert design.
• Advanced experience using structural analysis and design software.
• Experience with AASHTO standards and procedures. Experience designing bridges in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota a plus

Aufgaben

• Works on bridge and structural design projects, varying in size from small drainage structures to large multi-span bridges.
• Serves as senior project engineer and as designated client contact; participates in client interviews and meetings.
• Supports construction projects by reviewing submittals, answering RFIs, and conducting field visits to ensure contract compliance.
• Prepares budgets, estimating, scoping, and forecasting workload for internal staff on projects.
• Leads structural design efforts for complex transportation projects including proposals, reports, specs, plans and designs
• Responsible for project team quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual
