Job summary

Felsburg Holt & Ullevig is seeking a motivated Bridge Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our structures group in the Midwest. The role focuses on technical design, project leadership, and cross-disciplinary coordination to improve local communities.

You will design bridges, retain walls, and box culverts, mentor staff, and collaborate with clients and internal teams across transportation, environmental, and planning disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required; master preferred.
• 5-10 years Bridge & Structures experience.
• Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD.
• Proficiency in bridge design software and structural analysis.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Strong client communication and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze transportation structures including bridges and culverts.
• Lead project teams and prepare plans, reports and specs.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to meet project goals.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
• Collaborate with transportation, environmental, and planning groups.
