Felsburg Holt & Ullevig seeks a Bridge Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to join our structures group. The role focuses on technical design, leadership, and client engagement across the Midwest and Rocky Mountain region.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, PE license, and familiarity with AASHTO LRFD, MicroStation, and AutoCAD. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $125,000 with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required; Master's preferred for structural emphasis
• 5–10 years of Bridge & Structures experience
• Must have working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
• Proficiency in applicable bridge design software and structural analysis techniques is required
• Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD and related software is expected
• Project management experience and client communication skills are valued
• Established industry relationships and willingness to support proposals are beneficial

Responsibilities

• Complete analysis and design of transportation structures including bridges, retaining walls and box culverts
• Lead the preparation of plans, reports, and specifications; coordinate with CDOT/NDOT/SDDOT/IADOT formats as applicable
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define project goals and deliverables
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
• Work with transportation, environmental and planning teams on multi-disciplinary projects to integrate structural solutions
