Job summary

NPAworldwide client seeks a Senior Bridge Structural Engineer for the Hudson Tunnel Project. Lead design and technical reviews of bridge elements, ensuring codes and project requirements are met.

Provide constructability input, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and support field activities on a landmark infrastructure program. The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of bridge/structural experience, and strong leadership with solid reporting and QA/QC capabilities.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• Minimum 10 years of bridge/structural experience on large projects.
• Familiarity with federally funded projects and regulatory compliance.
• Strong design, analysis, and construction methods knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead teams and produce technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical review of bridge components and ensure compliance.
• Provide constructability input and value engineering for sustainability.
• Review drawings, specs, and submittals; coordinate with contractors.
• Offer field support, resolve issues, and monitor progress.
• Maintain QA/QC plans, audits, inspections, and testing docs.
• Prepare technical reports and participate in meetings with stakeholders.
• Support schedule and cost control; assist risk mitigation.
