Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Bridge Structural Engineer to join our Transportation & Municipal Engineering team in Columbus, OH. This role involves managing and developing our Columbus Structures/Bridge Group, leading technical projects, and contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and mentor the Columbus Structures/Bridge Group, including coordinating activities, establishing priorities, and staff development.
• Perform technical tasks such as research, reports, and design related to structural engineering.
• Lead local, state, and regional projects.
• Support marketing efforts through client engagement, proposals, interviews, and project acquisition.
• Maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform QA/QC reviews.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• P.E. license required; S.E. license a plus.
• 15+ years of related experience.
• Experience leading structural projects for ODOT, counties, and municipalities.
• Strong industry contacts and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proficiency with MicroStation / OpenRoads CE; OpenBridge experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
