Job summary

Ayres Associates is seeking an experienced bridge engineer to develop and manage bridge projects, lead design teams, and align opportunities with our capabilities. The role combines design work with project management and staff mentorship.

The ideal candidate brings a PE license in Wisconsin, 5+ years of bridge project experience, and strong writing and communication skills, with an option for hybrid work from an office location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• PE license in Wisconsin is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on bridge projects.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare reports, and other documents for bridge projects.
• Schedule, lead, and manage bridge design projects.
• Lead marketing and win bridge design projects.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies, subconsultants, and stakeholders.
• Mentor staff and contribute to staff development.
