Job summary

Upcoresolutions is seeking a seasoned Bridge/Structural Engineer for a Richmond, VA office growth opportunity. The role delivers project objectives for bridge and transportation structures at local, state, and federal levels with leadership across planning, scope, schedule, budget, and client communication.

Responsibilities include guiding technical teams through design from preliminary to construction, managing subconsultants, risk and quality management, and helping grow the local bridge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• PE license (Virginia preferred; other state licenses considered if VA can be obtained).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow bridge engineering staff across the Richmond/NoVA region.
• Provide technical and structural engineering expertise through the project lifecycle from preliminary design to construction.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and client communications; coordinate subconsultants and risk management.
