You will drive design, from concept to detail, and oversee field investigations, cost estimation, and construction monitoring while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

The role involves business development, managing transportation projects, and maintaining client relationships in a hybrid office setup with significant in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent; master’s in structural engineering preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio or West Virginia is required or actively pursued
• 10+ years of professional experience in bridge or structural design for transportation/highways
• Experience with bridge design projects in Ohio or West Virginia
• Familiarity with AutoDesk and Bentley products; knowledge of listed bridge design software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage bridge design and plan development
• Conduct field investigations, inspections, and prepare repair recommendations
• Perform type studies, structural designs, quantity calculation and construction cost estimating
• Monitor construction, provide expert opinions on bridges and civil structures
• Lead business development and manage transportation/infrastructure projects with client interaction
