Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Bridge Project Manager to lead bridge and civil-structure projects across transportation sectors in North America. You will manage design, field investigations, quantity calculations, and construction cost estimation while delivering safe, durable structures.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (master’s preferred), PE licensure in IL/WV/OH or ability to obtain within six months, and 10+ years of bridge design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or equivalent, a master’s in structural engineering preferred.
• SE license is required for IL, WV, or OH or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
• Certification as a registered professional engineer (PE) in Ohio, West Virginia, or Illinois is required
• At least 10+ years of professional experience in bridge design or structural design in transportation or highways project
• Experience working on structural bridge design projects in Ohio, West Virginia, or Illinois
• Exposure to other structural projects is a plus
• Familiarity with AutoDesk and Bentley products, and bridge design software such as LARSA, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, OpenBridge, CsiBridge, MIDAS, AASHTOWARE Bridge Rating, and MDX

Senior Bridge Project Manager

As a Senior Bridge Project Manager you will predominantly be involved with bridge or civil structure projects, but will also have exposure to different structural projects. You'll work across projects for railways, highways, related transportation projects and, of course, bridges.

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.

The expected salary for this position for candidates located in Chicago and Cleveland is $138,000 – $165,000.
