Job summary

Hoyle Tanner is seeking a Senior Project Bridge Engineer who enjoys the full evolution of a project. You will mentor junior staff, manage bridge projects across New England, and play a key role in client relationships and project planning.

The position is based in Manchester, NH, with a flexible schedule and remote work opportunities. Required: BS or MS in civil/structural engineering, a PE license in one or more New England states, 15+ years of engineering/leadership experience, and at least 5

Qualifications

• BS/MS in civil/structural engineering or equivalent.
• PE license in one or more New England states.
• 15+ years of increasing engineering or leadership experience, with 5+ years in project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage bridge projects across New England and other locations as needed.
• Prepare and perform complex structural analysis, design calculations, drawings and details for engaging bridge projects.
• Lead and assemble a project team to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
• Assist with design management, review, and permitting with outside agencies.
• Support business development, client presentations, and proposal preparations.
• Coordinate with clients on submittals, meetings and comments for successful delivery.
• Mentor, train and review work of junior engineering staff.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure quality management plans.
• Provide excellent client service and maintain team engagement.
• Lead pursuit of new projects and development of technical/price proposals.
• Monitor resources to meet contract, scope, budget, and schedule; use Deltek and other management tools.
• Invoicing and accounts receivable activities.
