Job summary
Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer in the Chicago area to join our Civil engineering team. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.
- Master’s in Structural Engineering - preferred.
- Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) preferred, or actively pursuing licensure with anticipated completion within 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Design transportation structures including highway bridges, retaining walls, and box culverts.
- Prepare structural analysis and design calculations per design codes; use computer programs as appropriate.
- Prepare technical reports, contract plans, specifications, cost estimates, and conduct on-site inspections.
