Maine Department of Transportation seeks a Bridge Management Engineer to lead the Bridge Management Unit within the Asset Management Office in Augusta, ME. This professional role directs daily operations, develops funding levels, and implements treatment strategies to maximize value in the Department's Work Plan.

Qualified candidates are licensed P.E.s with extensive civil engineering and managerial experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer with 4+ years in Civil Engineering at the professional level.
• 2+ years in complex engineering functions related to planning, project development, or maintenance of public works structures.
• 4 years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of the Bridge Management Unit.
• Develop funding levels and treatment strategies to maximize capital goals.
• Serve on MaineDOT committees (Bridge Committee, Bridge Posting Committee) and assist in Work Plan development.
• Supervise professional and technical staff.
