Job summary

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a Bridge Engineer 4 to lead GIS data stewardship for the bridge inventory and to manage enterprise datasets across systems. Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise GIS management and data stewardship.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and GIS Workbench.
• Strong SQL database experience with views and spatial data.
• Knowledge of FHWA NBI and HPMS data standards.
• Ability to train and mentor staff.
• Excellent communication of technical information.

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS data stewardship for WSDOT bridge inventory.
• Develop and maintain SQL views using bridge data.
• Ensure bridge data conforms to FHWA and WSDOT requirements.
• Provide training on GIS workflows and BVCTP processes.
• Coordinate data integration with technology development teams.
• Publish and maintain the Washington Bridge Inspection Manual.
• Support GIS applications used by Bridge Inspectors.
• Review data quality and resolve issues with inspectors.
