Job summary

EXP is seeking a Senior Bridge Inspector based in Celebration, FL. In this role, you will perform complex technical assignments related to field surveying and construction layout, manage lower-level inspectors, and ensure the quality of construction work through inspections and tests.

The successful candidate will have at least five years of construction inspection experience, including two years specifically in bridge construction. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience in construction inspection.
• Minimum of two (2) years in bridge construction inspection.
• Valid driver’s license and clear motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests.
• Coordinate and manage lower-level inspectors.
• Read and interpret complex plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Use Microsoft Office applications, with a heavy emphasis on Excel, Word, and FDOT Sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least five (5) years of experience in construction inspection, including a minimum of two (2) years in bridge construction inspection.
• Valid driver’s license and clear motor vehicle report.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a shift schedule and/or flexible schedule as required.
• Ability to communicate and work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Proficiency with SmartPile technology.
• CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level 1.
• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level 2 (Bridges).
• Experience with pile driving.
