The role requires leading design in accordance with MDOT standards and managing projects from concept through construction. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, over 8 years of relevant experience, and a Michigan PE license. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in bridge design and structural engineering.
• Michigan Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with MDOT and/or MDOT LAP projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform bridge and structural design in accordance with MDOT and AASHTO standards.
• Contribute to the full project lifecycle from concept through construction.
• Prepare bridge layouts, material quantity calculations, and construction specifications.
