Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation in Kittery, Maine seeks a Carpenter Foreman to oversee field planning and production for bridge construction projects. You will lead crews, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate with the Superintendent to meet schedule goals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a bridge foreman, knowledge of bridge equipment and forming systems, and rigging expertise. SHA 10 is a plus, with a strong focus on teamwork and results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Foreman on bridge construction.
• Knowledge of bridge construction equipment and forming systems.
• SHA 10 certification preferable.
• Rigging knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Enforce quality control and safety policies on all work.
• Ensure materials for the week are on site or available.
• Collect and enter labor and equipment data daily.
• Conduct daily huddles and toolbox talks with crew.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored properly after each shift.
• Assist in planning work schedule and labor/equipment needs daily.
• Direct oversight of time sheets and daily reports with quantities.
• Review productivity and goals with the crew daily.
