TenGun Design is seeking a Principal Copywriter to partner with Xbox's Brand, Product and Leadership teams, ensuring the brand voice is consistent globally across platforms and audiences.

The role requires leading naming, messaging, and editorial systems, with a track record in product storytelling, UX writing, and scalable content governance. You will drive clarity and creativity in fast-paced environments while collaborating across geographies and disciplines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in copywriting, brand communications in tech or gaming.
• Proven leadership in naming, messaging, and verbal identity.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility, legal, geopolitical and regulatory messaging.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects with stakeholders.
• Ability to build scalable content management and partner enablement systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Figma, and content design tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead verbal strategy across Xbox ecosystem, including naming and brand voice.
• Drive copy for product launches, marketing campaigns, and platform experiences.
• Lead naming for high-profile products and technology launches.
• Shape messaging for emerging platforms.
• Partner with product marketing, legal, geo-political, accessibility, and design teams for alignment.
• Develop scalable content governance systems, including hubs and copy libraries.
• Build self-serve tools to empower partner teams and streamline brand alignment.
• Be familiar with AI generative tools and policy on content usage.
• Serve as strategic thought partner to stakeholders for clarity and creativity.
• Thrive in ambiguity and drive alignment across multidisciplinary teams.
