Job summary

Human Agency is seeking a seasoned designer to own brand identity, design systems, and end-to-end product design across multiple client engagements. You will push the boundaries of AI-augmented workflows while maintaining rigorous design standards and collaborating with engineers and strategists.

You’ll lead visual systems, ensure scalable handoffs, and translate brand vision into usable components that teams can ship quickly. Remote-first with US/Canada applicants encouraged.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of design experience with meaningful work on both brand identity and digital product.
• Portfolio includes at least one design system built from scratch, starting from a brand identity.
• Demonstrable fluency in Figma, including variables, auto layout, and component architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead brand identity work from concept through final delivery, with typography, color, motion, and voice decisions.
• Build design systems from the ground up with governance and documentation for engineers and AI tooling.
• Own end-to-end design for web and product experiences from IA to final specs and details that delight clients on first pass.
• Use AI tools across exploration, iteration, and systemization to move faster and share learnings with the team.
• Present and defend design decisions to client stakeholders, translating rationale for non-designers.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, strategists, and AI practitioners to ensure designs are implementable and scalable.
