Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a senior brand strategist to fuse brand and product strategy at scale. You will influence GTM, CX, and product experiences by shaping how the brand is expressed across surfaces and initiatives while partnering with Product Marketing and Partnerships.

This role centers on integrating brand into every facet of the business. You’ll craft GTM plans, work with product marketers, and drive upstream strategy for products and partnerships, ensuring brand clarity and consistency

Qualifications

• Experience setting brand and product strategy either internally at companies or at agencies.
• Experience in shaping go to market strategy.
• Experience in delivering a brand across an organization, not just inside the marketing org.
• Strong persuasive writing skills, comfortable in partnering with Insights to shape and design research and apply it to the problems you’re solving.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human‑in‑the‑loop practices to deliver business‑ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.

Responsibilities

• You'll close the gap between what Coinbase promises and what customers experience by helping the brand shape and impact every surface, from GTM to product to CX.
• Author creative GTM strategies for product and partner initiatives, working closely with our Product Marketing and Partnership teams, and help shape the output from these briefs.
• Work with product marketers and partnership marketers to drive strategy upstream into the products we deliver and the partnerships we build and our role within them.
