Job summary

Novig is seeking a Lead Brand Designer to shape the visual identity as the company scales within its high-output, creative team. You will own design concepts from art direction through execution across brand, campaigns, and marketing work.

This role requires a strong portfolio, taste, and the ability to work with product and leadership to drive strategic design decisions. NYC office-based role with meaningful equity and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of design experience at top brands, studios, or agencies.
• World-class portfolio showcasing eye and craft.
• Impeccable taste and autonomy.
• Obsession with craft across projects of all sizes.
• Experience across print and digital; product design a plus.
• Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; motion design a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solidify Novig's brand identity and evolve it as we scale.
• Own design concepts from art direction through execution across brand, campaign, and marketing work.
• Act as a strategic design lead, partnering with product, marketing, and leadership.
• Identify opportunities to elevate design and pitch them and execute.
• Partner with product design to create icons, illustrations, assets and branded moments in the app.
• Direct contract designers on overflow work.
