Job summary

Notion, based in New York City, is seeking a Brand Designer to lead high-impact brand initiatives on the Creative Studio team, guiding strategy through execution. You’ll shape campaigns, collaborate with designers, illustrators, and filmmakers, and push the boundaries of our design systems.

You’ll mentor peers, elevate craft, and partner across functions to ensure brand storytelling remains smart, refined, and with a dash of wit. A strong portfolio and systems mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in an agency or in-house with leadership on ambiguous, high-impact work.
• Strong portfolio showing storytelling across many channels.
• Deep commitment to systems thinking, typography, and detail.
• Experience working with illustrators, animators, copywriters, filmmakers, photographers.

Responsibilities

• Concept, art direct and design high-visibility moments from brand campaigns, product launches, and events.
• Contribute to brand systems and develop standards and tooling that improve velocity and consistency.
• Mentor and raise the bar for other designers and creative partners through feedback and patterns.
