Job summary

Grindr's Brand Design Studio is seeking a Senior Brand Designer to lead brand initiatives across campaigns, product launches, social, events, and cultural moments. You will translate briefs into creative, adopt and extend our design systems, and ensure brand consistency at global scale.

You must defend design decisions, work in Grindr Mode, and thrive in a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, with in-person presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of design experience across agency and in-house environments.
• Portfolio showing strategic thinking and exceptional craft across multiple touchpoints.
• Experience building brand systems, not just working within one.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
• Strong presentation and communication skills to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to take work from concept to final files.

Responsibilities

• Develop on-brand solutions for campaigns, product launches, social, events, and cultural moments.
• Serve as a creative partner to cross-functional teams translating briefs into clear, compelling work.
• Help evolve Grindr’s visual identity by contributing to brand system decisions and guidelines.
• Maintain reusable templates, toolkits, component libraries across the design studio.
• Design and produce presentation materials for high-stakes audiences.
• Switch between projects quickly and apply design thinking consistently.
• Support and grow talent of junior designers.
