Job summary

Roblox Corporation is seeking a Senior Brand Designer to lead end‑to‑end design and art direction across brand, marketing, presentations, and digital formats. You will partner with senior stakeholders, shape the creative approach, and translate complex ideas into compelling visual stories at scale.

You will contribute to evolving Roblox brand systems, mentor designers, and collaborate with copywriters, editors, and production partners to maintain a cohesive, on‑brand creative vision.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience with strong conceptual thinking and meticulous execution.
• Experience on the agency side, the brand side, or both.
• History leading complex projects from framing to delivery with little oversight.
• Experience building, extending, or governing brand systems and libraries.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into the creative and production workflow.

Roblox is seeking a Senior Brand Designer to join the Kitchen, the in‑house creative agency for Roblox. We are a multidisciplinary team of creatives who deliver high‑craft work at speed across brand, product, advertising, and growth marketing. This role sets the bar for how Roblox shows up across marketing surfaces, presentations, video, web, and app stores, for audiences that include players, creators, parents, and partners. You bring strong conceptual and art direction instincts, systems‑level thinking, a point of view on how AI can elevate creative work, and the ownership to lead projects from problem framing through final delivery with no hand‑holding.

You Will:

• Lead design and art direction on high‑visibility projects end‑to‑end, from concept through delivery, across brand, marketing, presentation, and digital formats
• Partner with business leaders and senior stakeholders to frame problems early, shape the creative approach, and push back with a clear rationale when the work needs it
• Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual stories that hold up at scale
• Collaborate with copywriters, motion designers, editors, and producers, and direct their contributions toward a cohesive creative vision
• Shape and evolve Roblox brand systems making sure work stays consistent, scalable, and on‑brand
• Art direct agencies and production partners when scale or speed calls for it
• Raise the craft bar for the team through high-quality work, thoughtful critique, and mentorship of designers earlier in their careers
• Sequence multiple projects at once, keep timelines visible, and flag scope or risk trade‑offs early
• Build and champion better templates, processes, and ways of working, including bringing AI tools into the creative workflow
• Keep files organized and handoffs clean so downstream partners can implement your work reliably

You Have:

• 7+ years of design experience and a portfolio that shows strong conceptual thinking paired with meticulous execution
• Experience on the agency side, the brand side, or both
• A history of leading complex projects from problem framing to final delivery, with little oversight
• Experience building, extending, or governing brand systems and libraries
• Expert‑level typography, layout, and hierarchy, with the ability to make complex content readable and visually clear
• An obsession with craft, even on tight timelines. You know attention to detail is the job, not a bonus
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI tools into your creative and production workflow, and a point of view on where they help and where they don’t
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Google Slides, and Keynote
• Experience working directly with senior stakeholders, including managing feedback and competing priorities through to resolution
• Experience mentoring or informally leading other designers
• A proactive, resilient mindset. You surface issues before they become problems, communicate status clearly, and take ownership of your work

Annual Salary Range

$146,720 — $184,820 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
