Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Brand Analytics & Forecasting to lead brand-level analytics and demand forecasting for key therapies.

You will build short- and mid-range forecasts, track performance, and partner with Commercial and Finance leadership to inform planning and investment decisions. The role requires 8+ years in pharma analytics, strong SQL and at least one statistical tool (SAS/R/Python), and experience with syndicated/patient-level data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial analytics experience with brand analytics and/or forecasting.
• Experience with pharmaceutical demand and patient-based forecasting methodologies and data sources.

Responsibilities

• Own patient-based and demand forecasting models for assigned brand(s) across in-line and long-range horizons.
• Apply and maintain robust forecasting methodology including scenario planning and risk-adjusted forecasting.
• Partner with Commercial and Finance to track performance, dashboards, and analytics for business reviews.
• Leverage patient-level analytics to identify growth drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional analytics & data teams to leverage relevant data sources for forecasts.
• Lead variance and root-cause analyses, reconciling perspectives into brand-performance truth.
• Manage forecasting vendors/consultants and mentor junior analysts.
