Job summary

Visions Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Branch Member Account Specialist at Exeter Branch in Reading, PA. The role focuses on building meaningful member relationships, managing accounts, and supporting lending and everyday banking needs.

You will contribute to a supportive, growth-oriented environment with training and opportunities across nearby branches. A bilingual Spanish capability is valued, with notary licensing supported within the first year.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted member relationships through personalized service.
• Open and manage consumer, business, and IRA accounts; support loan applications.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Position Title: Senior Branch Member Account Specialist

Position Overview: As a Senior Branch Member Account Specialist (Sr BMAS), you’ll build meaningful relationships while helping members with accounts, lending needs, everyday banking, and their financial goals. Whether you’re bringing experience from customer service, retail, hospitality, or financial services, we’ll provide the training and support you need to grow your banking knowledge and build a rewarding career with Visions.

Position Type: Full-Time. 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation Range:$21.00/hr. - $25.50/hr. *Hiring rates may depend on directly related experience, education, geographic location, or special skills.*

Location: Exeter Branch, 4655 Perkiomen Ave, Reading, PA. This role may also support nearby branches in Muhlenberg, Shillington, West Lawn, and Reading as needed.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed:

• Build trusted member relationships through thoughtful, personalized service and meaningful financial conversations.
• Open and manage consumer, business, and IRA accounts, and support consumer loan applications, excluding mortgages.
• Listen to members, resolve concerns, and recommend relevant solutions that support their financial goals.
• Support branch operations, including teller and Member Service Representative coverage, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Learn and grow in a supportive branch environment that allows for hands-on training and more one-on-one member interactions.
• Use your Spanish-language skills to help members feel understood, supported, and confident in their financial decisions.
• Obtain a notary license within one year; training is provided.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma and 1-3 years of related experience; alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Ability to obtain a notary license within one year of accepting the role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree preferred.
• Two to four years’ experience in customer service, retail, banking or financial services industry.
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency - A bilingual premium is offered to qualified employees who successfully complete the required language proficiency assessment.
