Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking a Branch Manager in Weymouth, MA to lead a branch team, drive exceptional customer experience, and grow a strong book of business. You will hire and coach staff, set sales and service standards, and work across branches to promote full-service banking solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and community engagement while delivering results in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail banking or retail sales management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing sales, customer experience, and operations of a large and complex location.
• Willingness to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing specialty De Novo locations and establish a strong book of business in new markets where applicable.
• Develop and maintain effective lobby management and customer outreach efforts to enhance the customer experience both in and outside of the branch.
• Select, hire, and motivate appropriate staff to deliver value propositions as well as financial results.
• Regularly meet with employees to ensure trained and motivated toward sales and service standards.
• Conduct coaching to meet customer experience, sales, and financial goals.
• Lead a team in prospecting new businesses and manage relationships in a larger book of business.
• Foster a positive climate of teamwork and lead by example.
• Develop quality employees through coaching, joint sales calls, and reporting sales performance.
• Ensure customers receive a World Class Customer Experience across all channels.
• Utilize outbound calling to expand business opportunities and advise a large base of businesses.
