Job summary

Visions Federal Credit Union in Englewood Cliffs, NJ is seeking a Senior Branch Member Account Specialist to strengthen member relationships and guide financial decisions. You’ll open and service accounts, discuss lending options, and promote services while delivering exceptional, personal service in a busy, on-site branch.

This full-time role requires 1–3 years of related experience, notary eligibility within a year, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain a Notary Public license within one year of accepting the role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and member service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Two to four years of experience in customer service, retail banking, financial services, or a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with members and become a trusted resource for their financial needs.
• Open and service customer, business, and IRA accounts while ensuring a seamless member experience.
• Guide members through consumer lending options and support them throughout the application process.
• Identify opportunities to connect members with products and services that align with their goals.
• Resolve complex member concerns with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
• Support branch operations, including cash handling and transaction processing when needed.
• Collaborate with teammates across multiple branch locations to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Represent Visions in the community through local events and outreach activities.
