Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced California Professional Land Surveyor to serve as the technical authority for complex boundary determinations within a growing surveying practice. The role offers substantial autonomy, mentoring opportunities, and the chance to influence best practices on major CA projects.

Ideal candidates will bring extensive boundary research experience, strong CA boundary law knowledge, and proficiency in Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.

Qualifications

• Active California PLS license required.
• Extensive experience in boundary research, analysis, and resolution.
• Strong knowledge of California boundary law and subdivision mapping.
• Experience preparing ALTA surveys, Records of Survey, legal descriptions, plats, exhibits, parcel maps, and right-of-way mapping.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Ability to provide QA/QC oversight for survey deliverables and mapping products.
• Strong communication with clients, agencies, title companies, and project teams.
• Mentor survey staff and contribute to technical excellence.
