Job summary

Jobot is seeking a California Professional Land Surveyor to serve as the technical authority on complex boundary determinations, mentoring staff and delivering legally defensible surveys across California.

You will lead boundary research, prepare ALTA surveys and maps, and collaborate with clients, agencies and title companies while ensuring QA/QC of deliverables. Hybrid/remote options and long-term career stability are offered.

Qualifications

  • Active California PLS license required.
  • Extensive experience in boundary research, analysis, and resolution.
  • Strong knowledge of California boundary law and subdivision mapping.
  • Experience preparing ALTA surveys, legal descriptions, plats, and right-of-way mapping.
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
  • Ability to QA/QC survey deliverables and maps.
  • Strong communication with clients, agencies, title companies, and teams.
  • Mentor staff and contribute to technical standards.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, agencies, title companies, and project teams
  • Passion for mentoring survey staff and contributing to technical excellence across the department
