Job summary

Jobot is seeking a California-licensed land surveyor to become the technical authority behind complex boundary determinations and to help shape a growing surveying practice. You will lead boundary research and mapping efforts, mentor junior staff, and interact with clients on challenging California projects.

The role requires extensive experience with boundary law, ALTA surveys, and right-of-way mapping, plus proficiency in Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center. Hybrid/remote options offered.

Qualifications

• Active California PLS license required.
• Extensive experience performing boundary research, analysis, and resolution.
• Strong knowledge of California boundary law, subdivision mapping, and land surveying principles.
• Experience preparing ALTA surveys, Records of Survey, legal descriptions, plats, exhibits, parcel maps, and right-of-way mapping.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Experience processing and interpreting field survey data while integrating historical record information.
• Ability to provide QA/QC oversight for survey deliverables and mapping products.
• Strong communication skills with clients, agencies, title companies, and project teams.
• Mentoring survey staff and contributing to technical excellence.
