Job summary

Axis Energy Services, LLC. in Williston, ND seeks an experienced Operations Manager – BOP (Rockies) to oversee safe, efficient maintenance and deployment of Blowout Preventer equipment and lead technical teams on well-site operations.

The role requires hands-on senior leadership, extensive well service rig operations, customer interface, scheduling, and budget management to ensure compliant, high‑quality service delivery across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in well control, blowsout preventers, and pressure testing across multiple lines and geographies a plus.
• Solid experience in rig execution, service delivery and crew scheduling.
• Proven ability to manage field technicians and lead cross-functional operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all BOP equipment, torque services, and ancillary tools are tested, certified, and deployment-ready.
• Lead and supervise BOP supervisors and technicians; hire, train, and mentor staff.
• Coordinate operations with contractors, operators, and dispatch for smooth well-site execution.
• Manage operational costs, equipment planning, and KPIs such as uptime.
