Cloud5 Accounting in Utah offers a fully remote Senior Bookkeeper role to provide virtual bookkeeping services for 15–30 small-business clients using QuickBooks Online. The position supports flexible scheduling with a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week and can go up to 40 hours.

You will own client accounts, prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, and communicate results to clients primarily by email and Zoom, while mentoring a small team of 3–4 junior accountants.

Competenze

• 4–5 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of account reconciliations, month-end accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience working directly with small-business clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, timely work.
• Ability to take ownership of client accounts, manage deadlines, and work independently.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with an interest in improving accounting processes and efficiency.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior accounting staff is preferred.

Mansioni

• Manage daily and monthly accounting processes for approximately 15–30 clients.
• Categorize and organize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports.
• Communicate financial results and relevant insights to clients.
• Reconcile payroll-related transactions using payroll reports.
• Process client bills through Bill.com, when applicable.
• Research and resolve transaction questions with clients.
• Communicate with clients primarily through email and Zoom.
• Maintain clear and accurate notes and records regarding client needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
• Manage and support a team of approximately 3–4 junior accounting team members.
