Job summary

Morin's Exteriors (Morin's Siding & Window Co., Inc.) is seeking a hands-on Senior / Full-Charge Bookkeeper with HR responsibilities to scale finance and people operations across two Minnesota locations. You’ll own AP/AR, invoicing, payroll support, and month-end close while building consistent onboarding and documentation practices.

This role supports growth toward a 3x expansion, handles vendor files, reporting, and SOPs, and uses QuickBooks Online, JobNimbus, and Basecamp to keep processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Senior / Full-Charge Bookkeeper (AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll support, month-end rhythm)
• 2+ years owning HR responsibilities (hiring, onboarding, employee files/compliance)
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and comfort learning JobNimbus + Basecamp quickly

Responsibilities

• Own bill intake, coding, and approval workflow
• Run consistent weekly payment cycles and reduce invoice chasing
• Maintain clean vendor files and statement matching
• Own customer invoicing, payment posting, and deposit tracking
• Drive consistent AR follow-up and reporting
• Provide a weekly cash position snapshot and key financial metrics
• Keep JobNimbus and QBO aligned with proper setup and clean documentation flow
• Manage deadlines, approvals, and process visibility using Basecamp
• Coordinate postings, screening, onboarding, offers, and start dates
• Build consistent onboarding across both locations (policies, checklists, first-week readiness)
• Implement 30/60/90-day onboarding checkpoints
• Maintain employee files and audit-ready documentation
• Support leadership with employee conversations and consistency in expectations
• Improve everyday employee management systems to avoid reinventing the wheel
• Serve as the benefits administrator and manage enrollment changes
• Coordinate annual benefits administration and employee communications
