The perfect candidate will maintain the general ledger, manage A/P and A/R, process payroll, and contribute to budgeting and KPIs. Strong QuickBooks and Excel skills, GAAP knowledge, and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online (or Desktop).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the company's general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Manage all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Process customer invoicing and monitor collections.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts monthly.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Maintain fixed asset schedules.
• Track job costing and department profitability.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting.
• Prepare reports for ownership and management.
