Job summary

Barton, Walter & Krier, P.C. CPAs and Business Advisors is seeking a full-time on-site Bookkeeper in the Greater Minneapolis–St. Paul Area. You will maintain accurate financial records, post journal entries, and assist in preparing financial statements for multiple client engagements.

Qualifications

• H/S Diploma with Advanced Technical School or Accounting courses towards AA degree or Bachelors Degree.
• 4+ years of experience as an Accounting Associate or in a Bookkeeping function.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers; post journal entries.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements.
• Process client payrolls and payroll tax payments.
• Identify discrepancies and investigate issues.
• Communicate with clients and team to meet deadlines.
