Job summary

RÖDL USA is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper/ Accountant for our Business Process Outsourcing Department in our Houston, TX office. The ideal candidate will manage accounting tasks with precision, support client engagements, prepare financial statements, and handle payroll and tax filings in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an associate degree in accounting or equivalent German qualification, 3-4+ years of experience, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Accounting or higher.
3-4+ years of relevant accounting experience including preparing financial statements and communicating with clients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment and independently within an administrative framework.
Demonstrate high-level client-service orientation and discretion.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Prepare various sales and use tax returns, personal property tax returns, and other forms.
Payroll processing.
Ensure timely completion and communication of project status internally.
Research technical issues and discuss with Manager/Partner for guidance.
