Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Process and verify invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Monitor and reconcile company bank accounts and credit card transactions.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors during tax filings and audits.
• Provide support during financial audits and internal reviews.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
