Job summary

Lifeway Christian Resources seeks a Typesetting Specialist to lead the layout and typesetting of Bible and reference book projects for the Holman Bible & Reference Publishing imprint. In this role, you will craft high-quality, brand-consistent layouts across print and digital formats — from complex Scripture typography to ePub and PDF file preparation — ensuring accuracy and excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, publishing, or related field is required.
3+ years of experience in typesetting, print production, or related field.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and XML workflows.
Experience with accessibility and digital publishing formats (ePub, PDF).

Responsibilities

Lead complex Bible and reference book layouts using InDesign and XML workflows.
Apply brand standards and typography to ensure readability and theological accuracy across products.
Prepare files for prepress and digital formats (ePub, PDF).
Collaborate with editors, designers, and production teams to meet deadlines.
Maintain organization and version control throughout projects.
Travel 2–4 times per year to Middle Tennessee for team gatherings.
