Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to cover Bone Health in California. You will be the primary contact for medical professionals, delivering clinical information about Amgen products and helping navigate payer environments.

The role emphasizes clear communication, relationship development with customers, and achievement of sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement, with opportunities for remote/hybrid work where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years sales experience OR 6 years high school with sales experience
• Senior: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years sales/clinical experience OR 6 years with associate degree OR 8 years with high school
• Sales experience in pharma/biotech preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide current knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals
• Promote products and communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization
• Develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Manage accounts, address reimbursement issues, and maintain contracts
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and analyze territory effectiveness
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn
