Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to serve medical professionals, promote Amgen products, and navigate payer environments. You will act as the primary customer contact, implement marketing strategy, and drive territory sales through planned programs and both in-person and virtual engagement.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 3–6 years of sales experience (or clinical experience for the senior role).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required for Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative.
• Sales experience in healthcare or related field preferred; clinical experience acceptable for Senior role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals.
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct programs to achieve sales targets.
• Develop relationships with accounts, customize discussions, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Share feedback on marketing strategy and help develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Maintain brand integrity and adhere to Amgen values in all interactions.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Associate's degree (or equivalent) and 4 years sales experience

High school diploma/GED and 6 years of sales experience

Senior Specialty Representative: 3 years sales experience and/or clinical experience

Senior Specialty Representative: 6 years sales experience and/or clinical experience
